Flood Took Everything, Help My Aunt

Two days ago in Villavicencio, Colombia, after a heavy storm, the Ocoa River overflowed and flooded my aunt’s home at around 4 a.m. The water rushed in, destroying everything they had worked so hard for.

They lost all their belongings, and their lovely dog, Polo, was terrified by the flooding. The house is still underwater, and they now face the challenge of replacing everything and finding a safe place to stay.

I’m kindly asking for your help. Even a $10 donation would mean the world and help them get back on their feet. They’ve worked incredibly hard for everything they had, and in just one night, they lost years of effort and precious memories.

Hace dos días, en Villavicencio, Colombia, después de una fuerte tormenta, el río Ocoa se desbordó y entró a la casa de mi tía alrededor de las 4 a.m., inundándola por completo. El agua destruyó todo lo que habían conseguido con tanto esfuerzo.

Perdieron todas sus pertenencias, y su perrito Polo estaba muy asustado. La casa sigue inundada y ahora deben reemplazar todo y buscar un lugar seguro donde quedarse.
