Flood Support for Lee-Ann

My name is Lee-Ann Handley. I have been very apprehensive about saying yes to a go fund me as I believe I am more fortunate than most. I have the ability to work and rebuild my life, yet again like so many. However many people have reached out offering support. A lovely friend pointed out I have done so much for others and in the community and I deserve support at this time where my home at 15 Corella St Rocklea has been completely devastated by the floods with the flood water going over my gutters. I bought the house a year ago and had a loan to renovate the property that I have spent the last 9 months day and night doing. There is an embargo on my street for flood insurance, like many in Rocklea we are not covered. My home has had to be gutted including new electrical plumbing, etc. I am beyond appreciative for any assistance and in no way expect support. Please know if you have chosen to provide some support please know that any support given is also being shared in the Rocklea community, particularly my elderly neighbours and others who are in need.
