Flood Relief Lismore and Surrounds

My name is Stevie and I was born in Lismore. I currently reside in regional Victoria and it breaks my heart to see Lismore and surrounds being inundated with floods without being able to help.

My community has suffered from the worst floods in recorded history, people have lost everything and they need help. Lismore, Coraki, Kyogle, Dunoon, Mullum, Murwillimbah and many more surrounding towns have been hit really badly. Restoration efforts are going to need help from the wider community, people like us who do not live there and can afford to chip in whatever they can.

Lismore and the adjoining towns are my home. Floods are getting worse due to climate change and coming more frequently. The community deserve our help in this time of crisis.

These funds will be used to support community, with focus on the Aboriginal community. The Bundjalung mob deserve to be supported in a time like this, and so do any diaspora mob affected. I ask my friends from Melbourne and other places outside of the Northern Rivers to help. I plan to make contact with community leaders so they can tell us what they need. Donate what you can and together we can contribute to supporting people in extreme need.
