On the night after Halloween, Oak Creek surged and completely destroyed several trailers here and severely damaged others. Luckily folks made it to safety but it’s an ongoing crisis and families and animals are displaced. Our bridges are either closed to cars or condemned so getting supplies has been difficult.

The Cadillac that many people saw on the news was our sign of hope, we all kept asking each other when the flooding was getting worse, "well is the Cadillac still there?"

Since then the community has pulled together to do as much as we can, but we've received little relief and the cleanup and emergency repair has been nonstop.

This fund is currently for those affected most by the flooding, in the first row of homes, some of which floated downstream into each other.

Our initial goal is $1,000 for each of those families, there are about 7 trailers that are now completely unlivable in the front row.

Alternatively we’d graciously accept donations of:

-Sturdy work gloves (leather or waterproof)
-Large coolers
-Animal care products (food, beds, kitty litter, poop bags, treats)
-Nutritious food and snacks (pre-made or easy to make)
-Large totes/storage boxes
-Large water jugs to fill with drinkable water
-Headlamps
-Quality socks or work clothes
-Indoor/outdoor rugs (washed away )
-Work boots for mud
