My sister and brother in law , Velma and Maurice Tomlinson, were hit hard by Hurricane Ian. They had 20” of rain. Gratefully they had decided to evacuate but their home was flooded and they lost all their furniture and are faced with massive cleanup and home repairs as they begin again to rebuild their lives. These are some of the most generous people who have always helped others and would never ask for anything. Since they do not live in a flood zone they do not have insurance coverage. The money will be used to replace furnishings and repair their home. If you see it in your heart to give, I can assure you nothing will be wasted and they will be humbly thankful.
