Emergency Flood Relief for Tim and Amy Doutt

Friends and family, we have created this fundraiser to offer financial relief and support for Tim and Amy Doutt.
Their small town of Knoxville, PA was hit very hard by remnants of tropical storm Fred and while they were evacuated their home was severely damaged by a flash flood. The basement retaining wall collapsed causing water to completely fill the basement including 10 inches of water and mud throughout the main floor of their home. They have lost nearly all of their personal belongings including furniture, household belongings, clothing and irreplaceable family treasures.
They are all safe and we all count our blessings for that, some folks in last week’s storms were not as fortunate.
Tim and Amy are taking it one step at a time and starting the clean up, but heat and humidity typically win in this type of situation. They have reached out to professionals to assess if the house is salvageable. Friends and neighbors have come together and are all helping each other, even those they don't know came by and helped dig, pump water and bring food. Their little town is truly a blessing, and they are grateful for the support. They moved to Knoxville less then a year ago to be near family and begin their retirement. They had begun home improvements, which now seem futile.
As extended family, we are asking for your urgent support. Please consider contributing at whatever level your are able to give. Whether large or small, every gift will help them through this trying time from basic necessities, food, clothing and cleaning supplies to storage of salvageable items and so much more. They have a very long road ahead of them either rebuilding or leaving their home behind.
