Flood Relief for the Carpenters

Our brother, Nate, his expecting wife, Patricia, and their 7 year old daughter currently live in Paracambi, Brazil with her family. Last night, February 21, 2024, landslides and heavy rainfall caused a river to flood their town. The water in their home rose over 3 feet in just 15 minutes, leaving enough time to get to safety but no time to secure their belongings. We are praising God that they were able to safely escape the rushing waters, but they have lost nearly all of their earthly possessions. The waters have receded and now the cleanup begins.

First and foremost, we are asking for prayer. Pray for safety, strength and endurance for the cleaning and rebuilding process, there's mud covering every inch of their home. Pray for safe water to drink and food. Currently, they don't have either and are expecting prices to skyrocket as the grocery stores in their town were also destroyed. Pray for our sister in law, who is in the last month of her pregnancy. Pray for the safety of our unborn nephew and that he would not make his arrival early. Please pray for our 7 year old niece, that God would comfort her heart and give her peace.
