Alison, Chris and their three children (3, 13, 16) were away from their home in Wheeling, WV attending a family reunion and Branson, MO; while they were away, their entire basement was flooded with sewage in one of the worst floods in the Woodsdale area (non-flood zone). They lost all their washer, dryer, water heater, furnace, the majority of the oldest clothes, track and field equipment from newly formed timing company and physical therapy equipment from their pediatric PT company. As you can imagine, this will be an almost insurmountable financial challenge for a young family.
Friends, family and the local community have done a great job in assisting the family in the cleanup. The family is looking financial help to replace the essentials (washer, dryer, water heater, furnace, the majority of the oldest clothes). Additionally, any financial/donation assistance to help replace timing (race clocks, digital displays, wind gauges, etc.) and pediatric (please contact us) equipment would be greatly appreciated.
The family has been living in a hotel for over a week due to no hot water or gas to cook. So any assistance that can be provided soon would help the family return to their home and get back on their feet.
If you can't give financially, please pray and share!
