We are starting this fundraiser on behalf of our dear family members, Ginger and Sean Buchanan. Sean and Ginger lost their home in the disastrous flooding in Waverly, Tennessee on August 21, 2021. Ginger was inside their home on Meridale Street when the flood waters swept it away and off the foundation. The house was swept across the street and landed in an empty lot. We are forever grateful to the 2 neighborhood heroes who rescued Ginger on jet skis!! We are so thankful for this miraculous rescue when the flood waters had almost reached the ceiling fans inside the home at one point. The home is a total loss, and the Buchanan family will need to rebuild their home and lives from scratch. All of these funds will go directly to Ginger and Sean.
We know that so many were affected by the Waverly flooding and we are praying for those families who loved ones are still missing or perished. We all grew up in Waverly from birth, graduated from Waverly Central High School, and we love our town!
Thank you for loving our family and for any amount that you feel led to donate to the Buchanan family.
Love,
Allison and Michael McGaha (Ginger is Michael's sister)
