While out of town, my dear friend, Ebony Lynn Mudd learned that her house had flooded. Thankfully everyone is safe, but the damage is extensive and the family is dealing with a lot both temporally and emotionally. Unfortunately, the insurance company is not able to send an adjuster out for many days. Even after that, we have no idea when the funds will start to come through or if it will cover everything. So Ebony and her family are paying for their hotel room, food, current clean up efforts, and more all out of pocket.

Ebony has consistently given back to her community, both locally and beyond through a tuition free dance program and other community involvement as well as providing free opportunities to up and coming authors all over the world. This is our opportunity to help and give back in her time of need. No donation is too small.
