Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My dad’s ranch along the North San Gabriel River was devastated by the recent floods in Texas. The main house took on over 5 feet of water, ruining nearly everything inside — furniture, appliances, memories. A second dwelling, one he and I built together with our own hands, was completely washed off its stilts and is now unlivable. An equipment barn with multiple tractors and trailers was also in the path and took on 6 feet of water.
We’ve applied for assistance, but as many of you know, that process can take time — and we’re racing against the clock to clean up, rebuild, and salvage what we can before more damage sets in. Every day counts.
The immediate need is helping my dad get his home back to a livable condition: drying out the house, replacing damaged materials, and making basic repairs to stabilize what’s left. We’re doing everything we can, but we’re asking for a little help from our community to get through this.
Anything you can give — no matter the amount — makes a difference. If you can’t give, sharing this with your friends and networks means the world to us.
Thank you for your kindness, your support, and your generosity. We’re holding on to hope, and with your help, we’ll rebuild.
