I am raising money for a co-worker named Shawn (due to the occupation, I am leaving his last name out) who is in dire need of help.  

Shawn is a father of 3.  He is a 12 year veteran law enforcement officer and Iraq War veteran.  Due to the flooding that has ravaged Nebraska this week, he was forced to abandon his home along the Platte River in Cass County.  His home will most likely be a total loss, and insurance is an issue.  

He had 20 minutes to retrieve any of his or his childrens’ personal possessions from his home before evacuating.
