Dear Friends & Supporters of KIPP,

As you may have heard, many areas of San Jose were severely impacted by flooding last month, including mandatory evacuations, power outages, and property damage. 

We are raising money to support the Barragan family, who have lost everything in their home from the flood -- furniture, appliances, and all of their personal belongings. Fortunately, the Barragans are safe and currently staying with a family member, but their property has been destroyed and they are unable to return. 

Daisy is an 8th grader at KIPP Heartwood Academy and has been a KIPPster since 5th grade. Juana Barragan, Daisy's mother, is a KIPP parent volunteer.
