Hi, my name is Manroop Khehra, and I founded and co-run the Sikh Student Association at my high school in Ontario.
Right now, people in Punjab are facing the devastating aftermath of severe flooding. Homes have been destroyed, farmland has been wiped out, and many lives have been lost — including children and animals. While the floods have stopped, the damage remains. Families have no homes, no food, and no way to earn a living, especially those who lost their crops and land.
As Sikh students, we believe it is our responsibility to step up and help. Through this fundraiser, we are raising money to provide food and essential supplies to those most affected by the floods.
This cause is deeply personal to me. The people of Punjab are struggling to survive and rebuild, and they need our support now more than ever. If we don’t help, who will?
All funds raised will go directly to Khalsa Aid, a trusted humanitarian organization actively providing flood relief in Punjab.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser. Every contribution will help bring food and hope to those who need it most.
Thank you for your support.
