Flood Relief 2025

In August 2025, Pakistan has been struck by some of the deadliest flash floods in its history. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), entire villages in Buner, Swat, and Bajaur have been swept away. More than 600 people have lost their lives, thousands are still missing, and countless families have been left without homes, food, or clean water.

One heartbreaking story comes from Buner, where 24 members of a single family perished in one night when floodwaters destroyed their home on the eve of a wedding. Across KP, parents are searching desperately for children, homes lie buried under mud, and rescue operations have been hampered by washed-away roads — even a rescue helicopter crashed, killing its five crew members.

The floods have left behind:

• ⛺ Thousands of families displaced, many under the open sky

• Severe food shortages and an urgent need for clean water

• Medical emergencies, with many unable to reach hospitals

• Homes, schools, and mosques destroyed within hours

We cannot stand by while our brothers and sisters in Pakistan suffer.
