Flood Recovery for the Iwanaga Soy Sauce Company

My name is Zane Chapman, and I am the son of Noriko Iwanaga Chapman. We live in East Tennessee, and my mother is an immigrant from Japan where all of her family currently resides. On July 3, 2020, my mother's hometown of Ashikita in Japan experienced disastrous flooding due to the ongoing rainy season. Fortunately, our family members were able to evacuate to the upper levels of their homes before the ground floors became flooded. However, the soy sauce company my family owns (which is attached to their home) was not able to be preserved.
The Iwanaga Soy Sauce Company was established in 1909; it is 111 years old. The company has supported multiple generations of the family during its time including my own side of the family here in the US. In addition, the company has consistently supported its workers and the local community. Now, the company and the surrounding community needs help to rebuild so that it may continue supporting my family and the town of Ashikita, especially during a time in which the pandemic has already had an impact on the operations of the company.
I ask for anything that you can spare to help provide resources to my family in Japan and the town of Ashikita. The goal is currently set to $1000, but anything to help will be appreciated and going beyond the goal will only help more. Japanese Translation: 7月4日（日本時間）に熊本県を中心に襲った集中豪雨で、土砂崩れや浸水が相次ぎ、九州南部に大きな被害が発生している状況です。お亡くなりになられた方々及びご家族の皆様には心よりお悔み申し上げます。
岩永醤油は、熊本県芦北町に明治４２年（西暦１９０９年）創業以来、１１１年間にわたり醤油・味噌を製造し、県内あるいは全国販売してきました。年号も明治・大正・昭和・平成を経て令和となり、５世代目の岩永宗大が家業を手伝い始めて間もなく豪雨災害に遭遇しました。
工場界隈の住宅街や商店街も佐敷川の氾濫で被害を受け、現在、地域で協力し合って復旧や物資確保に努めています。宗大はSNSを通して、被害状況を米国テネシー州に住む従弟Zane Chapmanとも共有しました。緊急事態を察知したZaneが、遠方から日本の家族を支援出来ることを考え、募金サイトを立ち上げました。支援していただいた寄付金は全て、醤油工場や地域社会の復旧・物資確保のために充てられます。若い世代が国境を越えて隣人を助けあう活動にご協力お願いします。
