Hi all,

My sister Jamie, along with her partner Jo, and her two daughters were sadly affected by the flooding in Lismore. They were extremely lucky to have been rescued by a member of the community after waiting for hours on their roof in the rain as the flood waters crept up and engulfed their home. Sadly, along with the structural damage caused to their home, they have lost everything.

Unfortunately due to the location of their house, insurance for flooding is not possible therefore they are being forced to start over with nothing. While items/appliances are so greatly appreciated, we have had some incredibly generous people express that they are wanting to donate money directly which is why we are creating this fund. We completely understand that there are a lot of people that need help right now, however if you wish to donate to my sister and her family directly to help their situation this will be the easiest way to do so.

Any amount, no matter how big or small will make a huge difference. They will be using the money to re establish their home, as well as provide themselves and the girls and the with the essentials required to get them back on their feet.
