Flood Recovery & Relief Fund for Tannyr and Mitch

Tannyr and Mitch are in need of support after their home was breached by floodwaters, destroying 2/3 of their possessions. Caused by the convergence of a monsoon and a slow moving tropical low, an unprecedented 1.8 meters of rain was dumped on Townsville, Australia within seven days causing extreme flooding and property damage. While the survey of the wreckage is  still being tallied, we know that over 20,000 families homes have been effected and one of those families is of our own network-that of Tannyr and Mitch Bebb. 

Over 2 feet of water inundated their home, leaving muddy silt over everything and rendering 2/3 of their belongings destroyed. An incredible community in Townsville has gathered around Tannyr and Mitch to help them evacuate all of their possessions from their now uninhabitable home. After 7 dump runs, Tannyr and Mitch officially have no furniture and have been evicted from their home by Mother Nature.  

As the immediate response to this disaster transitions into rebuilding, there is a lot of work still ahead which is why we are asking for your financial support now. Tannyr and Mitch will receive no compensation to replace the majority of what was damaged from the flood waters and now they are faced with the incredible task of establishing a new home from scratch.  Any monetary support that you can spare at this time will be so greatly appreciated and will be used to help this budding family piece back their world in Townsville.
