Hello my name is Mercedes Du Bois I am from St. Louis Missouri. July 26 change my life in the course of hours. The rain was record breaking the most rain fall in over 100 years. I lost my home which included my business and vehicle to this awful flood! In a matter of an hour my life was turned upside down. For ones who know me know that I am quick to give and slow to take. So as you can imagine I’m sitting here trying to figure things out and what to do next. But I keep hearing God say just humble yourself. You have helped people out for so long and now you need it don’t be afraid to ask! I’ll send help but you have to be willing to ask and except. So this evening I decided to start this page to ask for help. I have to move Within three days because my place is condemned and figure out transportation because my car was completely submerged underwater an deemed totaled! I know we all are going through a tough time which makes it hard for me to even sit down and write this. I’m writing this in total disbelief but also with a heap of Faith. God has never failed me And I hear him saying help is on the way. I thank the ones for reading this That can’t help and I thank the ones in advance that are reading this and can help! A friend told me a few times before that when bad things come about you say Lord why me and God answers back “why not you? “I dare not question him so with that being said I’m walking by faith not by sight! And I’m okay with that too because the very things that should have taken me out hasn’t! God can do anything but fail!
