Hello, I am Lucas Bienert. Though I am not physically present in the flood-stricken areas of Southern Brazil, my heart is with my family members and friends who have suffered immense losses due to the recent catastrophic floods. This fundraiser is a personal mission to aid those who have lost their homes and possessions in this disaster.
The floods have been relentless, claiming at least 83 lives and leaving dozens missing. Over 156,000 individuals have been displaced, forced to abandon the life they once knew. The scale of devastation is staggering, with countless homes and communities submerged and destroyed.
Your donation will serve as a critical lifeline for the affected families. The funds will be utilized to:
- Provide Immediate Aid: Ensuring the delivery of food, clean water, clothing, and medical supplies to those in urgent need.
- Support Rebuilding: Helping families rebuild their homes and replace essential items such as appliances, furniture, and mattresses.
- Offer Continued Assistance: Facilitating counselling and support services to address the emotional trauma faced by the victims.
I pledge full transparency in the allocation and use of the funds. A report of the fund distribution will be made available to the donors who sign up for updates using the form linked here.
Join me in this effort to bring relief and hope to the families of Southern Brazil. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference.
Let’s stand together to rebuild lives.
