Flood Help for Michele and Mimi

Our beloved Ms. Hatchell (Michele) and her daughter Mimi were part of the devastating  flash flood on Monday, August 20th on Maple Terrace and Burbank Place. Thankfully both of them and their kitties were safe. And their house remains standing. Water reached the ceiling of their basement and they are going to need to replace all of their appliances-- water heater, water softener, heater, AC, washer, dryer, and put a back flap on their sewer. They are also going to have to have a ditch placed down their driveway and through their garage to prevent further catastrophic damage to their home in case there is another flood. All total, these damages are estimated to cost them upwards of $20,000. Like all of their neighbors, this flood is not covered by their insurance. They are grateful for all the love and kindness they have received and help that continues to come. <3
