Flood Disaster Took Our Home – Please Help Us Rebuild

Hi, my name is Diana Castaneda, and I’m reaching out for help after a devastating flood that destroyed our home on October 26, 2025. My three children — Angel (10), Izaiah (5), and Jazlyn (3) — and our dog Mia have been deeply affected by this disaster. It breaks my heart to see my kids go through something so scary and uncertain.

Our house was flooded, and most of our belongings were damaged or completely ruined. Unfortunately, our home insurance does not cover flood damage, leaving us to face repairs and replacements on our own. I’ve had to miss several days of work to clean up and try to save what little we could, but there’s still so much to do.

Right now, we’re staying at my mom’s house while we figure out how to rebuild. It’s been a very emotional and traumatic time for our family. Asking for help is not easy for me — I never imagined I’d be in this position — but we truly need support to get back on our feet.
