Flood Disaster Repair

Hello, my name is Sarah. On April 12th, a large storm cell swept through Fort Lauderdale, FL, and sat over the city and surrounding areas. Bringing wind, tornadoes, and 24 inches of rain in only 13 hours. My father, stepmother Thomas and Anita Livingston. My aunt, Jenny Sims live in a neighborhood known as Edgewood. Overnight, my father's house was filled with over 12 inches of flood water. The entire neighborhood was underwater. Some areas were as much as 5ft deep. My stepmother and my father's home is destroyed. The walls, carpet, furniture, and any wood in the house had to be ripped out to prevent any mold or mildew. My father and stepmother are the type of people to give the shirts off their backs to anyone in need without question. And as their child, I would like to help them get some relief from this horrible disaster that has rocked their lives, and their home. The money will help them be able to purchase the materials needed to repair any parts of the house that needed to be removed, clean up materials, and any household materials that have to be replaced (bedding, food, pet supplies and medical supplies).
