Urgent: Russell Family Lost Their Home

Donation protected
Wesley Russell, his wife Alaina, and their 18-month-old Myra, and 37-week-old (pre-born) baby Lily, are currently homeless since their home was devastated in recent flooding. Wesley Russell is a faithful abolitionist pastor of a small church in rural Kentucky. They are currently staying with friends while trying to figure out what to do moving forward.

A brief timeline of what happened:
10 PM: They had no water at all in their yard.
12 AM: An inch of water filled their home and they evacuated to their church building.
2 AM: Two feet of water filled their home.
6 PM the next day: The Russell family was rescued from their church.

This area has not been flooded in nearly a century, and their insurance did not cover flooding. On top of that, they also found out that in every room of their house there is 20-30 year old black mold! So this flood leaves their house completely destroyed, and now more than likely will also be condemned.

The Russells lost their home and everything in it. They lost their vehicles. Their church building is destroyed. And they are expecting their second baby any day now.

Brothers and sisters, please donate to this fundraiser to help get them into a new home! The flooding destroyed this parsonage, 12 other homes of the families in their church, and their church building. If we raise over and above what they need, any extra will go to help their struggling church family.

For those of you who came to this page from Abolitionists Rising, we are calling on the Abolitionist Movement and the people of God to become the Russell family's flood insurance. You have seen Wesley and Alaina on our channel a while back sharing the gospel on college campuses with us during our national conference/mission in Kansas. Brother Wesley has proven himself to be above reproach, faithful in carrying out the work of abolition with Abolish Abortion Kentucky, and faithful in evangelism and discipleship within his own community and church.

Please give and give generously, and share this fundraiser with friends asking them to help pitch in! Let's blow this fundraiser out of the water! (flood-related pun not intended)
