Floating Blue Ball Hockey Documentary

Floating Blue along with BlackRose Pro have partnered to produce the first ever feature length national ball hockey documentary, "Floating Blue: The Rise of American Ball Hockey."  The movie will primarily focus on the inaugural National Ball Hockey League (NBHL) season through the eyes of the Orange County Wolves as they battle rivals within the California division in hopes to advance to the league championship tournament and play for the Mylec Cup against some of the best ball hockey players in the world.  The film will also educate the audience on the history of ball hockey as well as the key differences which makes ball hockey unique from other types of hockey (ice and roller).  The production team will also cover Club Championships in Pittsburgh, PA to further highlight the national presence of ball hockey in the United States.



But we need your help!  Filmmaking is an expensive endeavor from pre production, filming, travel and post production.  All the money raised by the GoFundMe will support the production and promotion of the film to make it of the highest quality.   The film will be submitted to major film festivals and we hope to partner with major platforms like Netflix or Hulu to bring our movie to the widest audience possible. This is our chance to show the world what ball hockey is all about, and most importantly, grow the sport!
