Flo is an artist, sci-fi and fantasy writer and regular attendee at conventions such as Bristolcon and Eastercon. We all agree that she is an all-round lovely person who absolutely lights up the life of anyone who knows her. Flo is quick-witted, an excellent listener and she and her partner Rob (aka "Mousecow's Dad") both have a generosity of spirit that is rare to find.

On 2nd September, Flo had a stroke and a seizure. Thankfully Rob was able to get her to the hospital in time for essential clot busting drugs. She's still in the hospital as of writing this and appears to be improving day by day. However, it's still early and there are many unknowns.

Flo and Rob have both been through a lot, and Rob is currently unable to work due to health reasons - this Go Fund Me is to help give them some financial security through the next few months, so Rob can focus on Flo, getting her home and settled. We don't know what help they might need, from taxis for health appointments or Rob visiting Flo in hospital, to getting weekly food orders delivered and anything else you might imagine. She may need more equipment or support than can be provided locally on the NHS.

We cannot anticipate exactly what those needs are but, I'm hoping together we can help to remove the burden of financial uncertainty and help Flo on the path to recovery.
