Flips emergency medical procedures

Hi everyone, thank you for even stopping by this page. My name is Emily and pictured is our sweet sweet kitty Flip. He has had quite the long weekend, and now week, at the ER dealing with a blocked urethra. This is fatal in male cats if not taken care of properly. He was at the ER and had a procedure that put in a catheter to drain the blockage and his bladder. Unfortunately the catheter was taken out too soon, so they had to do the procedure again. He was able to leave the ER because he had peed one time on his own, but is now blocked again. So we spoke to our primary care vet and she recommended going back to an ER. The only options we have are to do these procedures again, have surgery or euthanize, which is just not an option for us. These procedures have become quite expensive and our insurance won’t cover any of it unfortunately. If anyone is in a position that they feel like they can help, Flip, myself, Vyto & Phoebe(Flip’s sister) will love you forever. Even a dollar is helpful!
