Flippers recovery

Hi my name is Karen Price and I am fundraising for my brother Wendell (Flipper) Chadwick.

The Chadwick family has endured sudden and unpredictable circumstances these last two weeks. As most know, Flipper Chadwick was in a terrible car accident on August 17th causing multiple injuries. He has been in the TSICU in Tuscaloosa since and his family has watched him go through many trials. Flipper has faced heart and lung issues, a decrease in kidney function causing him to be on dialysis, undergone two surgeries to repair the intestines, and is now overcoming the ventilator.

Once all injuries are resolved and Flipper is healing, he will be admitted to a rehabilitation facility to continue medical treatment as well as physical therapy. They have a very long road ahead, but with God’s grace we are finally moving forward and now ask for your help.

Vickie has taken a leave of absence from work with no pay and Flipper will be off until the unforeseeable future. Not only do they have bills that will continue, they will also face enormous hospital bills. Vickie is staying in Tuscaloosa to be with him so she’s facing a mortgage in addition to her costs to temporarily live there.

We ask that you help support them in this time of need, so they can focus on him healing. Please continue to pray for this family and their journey to recovery.
