Two Blokes. One Micra. 10,000 Miles. For the Planet.
This summer, we — Hector and Jenson — are taking on the Mongol Rally: a 10,000+ mile journey from London to eastern Kazakhstan in a gloriously under-qualified, slightly done-up 2002 Nissan Micra. More commonly known as a turd on wheels
No backup. No set route. Just two mates with North, West, South and East being the extent of our navigational skills — and one very big reason behind it all.
Were doing for our charity "The Flipflopi Project". Their mission is to pioneer sustainable solutions to avoid plastic pollution in geographically remote shoreline areas by creating pathways for community-driven circular solutions rooted in local heritage. Their vision is to end single-use plastics and ensure all other plastics are part of a circular economy.
Flipflopi places a strong emphasis on education and policy change. Through their Training Centre, they offer practical courses in traditional boat and furniture production using a circular economy approach.
So if you fancy helping save the planet, watching a small car and us break down in a Kazakh desert — you're in the right place.
Every donation — big or small — fuels our journey and supports an amazing cause.
Thanks legends!
