Flip Flop Barnyard - A Miracle Farm In The Making

Derek and Jenna Dooley from The Flip Flop Barnyard Youtube Channel and Blog have been presented with an opportunity to purchase an amazing 136 acre farm nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of SW Virginia. Their family of 10 has been homesteading and have been praying for the perfect forever property to grow their farm and family for over 10 years.
In October of 2018, they were residing in NW Florida when Hurricane Michael hit, devastating the entire region they lived in. This resulted in their family being homeless and jobless. They moved back home to Virginia and started over from scratch. They have been renting a single wide trailer on 37 acres since the end of 2018.
Their youngest son, Jacob, had a terrifying 20 minute long neurological episode/seizure on February 21, 2021. They discovered that the trailer they were renting had a very serious mold problem which resulted in Jacob’s episode as well as other health issues with their family. They immediately moved out of the trailer and into a camper still on the 37 acres they rent. Their family began searching for a new farm to buy that would fit their family, all of their cattle, as well as all of their other farm animals.
They were presented with an opportunity to buy their dream farm with an owner finance situation. The property is $325,000 which they need $125,000 cash down payment to purchase. The owner of the farm is going to owner finance the remaining $200,000 balance at a really great deal.
Their hearts for this farm is not just for their family and farming business but they feel strongly that they are called to minister through their farm as well. They want their farm to be a haven for those who need their hearts healed and restored by the Lord. Many people have expressed interest in helping them acquire the farm and asking how they could give monetarily to help them get their down payment.
Derek and Jenna have expressed over and over that they are in no way asking for money, just allowing those who have already asked and those who feel led to give. They are very humbled and grateful that people would want to help their family obtain their dream farm. This is a true answer to prayer for them.
