Flint & Emma

As you know Emma our grandaughter has had mental health issues in the past. She has even had a few attempts. About 5 years ago someone from my work had heard about this horse (equine) therapy. So I looked into it and found a beautiful barn in St.Francis. The owner of the barn put Emma out in the field filled with horses. She told Emma to just sit and wait. Emma looked so sad and depressed out there until this beautiful golden horse came up to her and snuggled up on her. They connected instantly. The owner then told us who that horse was. Flint, one of their most stubborn horses. He had a mind of his own, if he didn't want to do something he wouldn't. So familiar doesn't it? Emma started going out twice a week for equine therapy. Over time her mental health improved greatly and Flint became less stubborn. Over the years these two both have come so far. Emma is truly a changed person and I give all of my thanks to Flint and that amazing equine therapy program. 5 years have gone by so fast, with the effects of COVID, life, and maybe other things. The owners of Flint have decided that it is time to sell. Our goal is to purchase Flint not only to keep Emma on track but also to keep myself on track. Flint has helped me as well alongside so many kids. I would love to see Flint and Emma stay together, so I am simply asking for some help. If there is any way you could spare a few dollars, I would be ever so grateful.
