Flight Training Funding for Camilo

Donation protected
Hello every one, as you have seen in the title of the campaign my name is Camilo. I am the one in the black shirt in the photo and alongside me is a friend and also pilot. I am a international student from Colombia living in the United States with my aunt while I go to school to finish my career as a pilot.  I have been living in the United States for 4 years and in those years I have been attending Broward Community College for an associates degree in aviation. The college works in association with a flight school known as Phoenix East Aviation. The college provides the classes and credits for the associates degree, while the flight school provides the flight training to get the FAA certified licenses.

Thankfully I have been blessed with two wonderful and loving parents that have sacrificed a lot and have helped me in achieving my dream of becoming a pilot. They paid for my entire flight training as well as my college tuition, so as of right now I am a certified commercial pilot with  an IFR and multi-engine rating add on. So why do I need this money that I am asking for? Well even though I have finished my flight training and received my associates degree, I cannot find work here in the U.S or in Colombia with my current experience. Many jobs require a minimum of 500 hrs of flight experience and when you graduate at the most you have 250 hrs. This is not just my struggle but the struggle of many other new pilots as well, so the easiest way to get a job at the beginning is by doing a certified flight instructor course which trains you and certifies you to be able to teach others to fly. The course is a quick course that last around 3 months at the most and cost an approximate of $8000.

As I have said before my parents were the ones who where paying for my studies and thankfully they had enough to pay for the entirety  of it, but right now they are not able to help me pay for this last license. They have already sacrificed a lot to allow me to study in a foreign country and now in this final bit its impossible for them to help me out and after all they have done supporting me and helping me I don't expect anymore from them as they have done more than what a parent is required to do for their child. During my studies here in the U.S I managed to get a part time job in my flight school as a dispatcher and have been able to work part time there to help support my living expenses here in the U.S as well as save up some money for this license. I have managed to save around  $3000 and all I am missing is $5000 .  These $5000 will help me cover the expenses that this course entails which are:

- 15 hours of dual flight instruction which is $200 an hour with the instructor.
-60 hours of ground instruction which is $60 an hour with the instructor.
- The FAA check ride fee which depending on the designated pilot examiner is between $800 to $1000
- The written test Fee that is around $150-$200 depending where there is testing available
- Text book expenses as well as an extra hours or so of flight training or ground school.

I will be very grateful to all that help me out with as much as one dollar and if it were possible to give less than that i would still be grateful because you are still helping me. If you are somebody interested in flight training or becoming a pilot contact me and I will help you out in the best of my capabilities. Thank you very much to everyone even if you only read the description, have a wonderful day and stay safe in these times.

TL;DR I'm an international student without enough money to finish my studies and need a $5000  help.
