Hello,
My name is Michael Zurek. I’m 21 years old. I have a deep passion for flying. I have always dreamed about becoming an airline pilot. I'm currently enrolled in flight school working towards my private pilot license at Northwest Flyers in Schaumburg, Illinois. Due to a few financial setbacks it has been difficult to continue my education. I have two amazing elderly parents who are very supportive of my education but are unable to help financially. Lately I have been working so I can help contribute to supporting them.
My goal is to obtain my training and become a career pilot with a prestigious corporation. I know I will accomplish these goals but “when” is the question. I enjoy hard work and I have the amount of perseverance and integrity.
I currently hold the rank of 2nd degree black belt by National Karate and I trained under 7th Degree Master Chris Nelson and 5th Degree Master John Mazzola. They have known me since I was six years old. They see the man who I am today.
I am asking my friends and family and angel donors to join and support me in this endeavor. Any amount is very appreciated, and I am humbled that you would read my story and may see worth in my struggle.
