Hi my name is Rose! I am a music education student at Texas A&M Commerce and a percussion instructor at Denison Independent School District. During this year's PASIC I had the privilege to be introduced by my professor, Dr. Brian Zator, to Katarzyna Mycka. Katarzyna Mycka is an internationally renowned marimba virtuoso and is also my personal hero. After PASIC, Dr. Brian Zator also presented the opportunity for me to attend the International Katarzyna Mycka Marimba Academy (IKMMA) in Gdansk, Poland. I received a research grant from A&M Commerce to purchase the registration for the program, but need support to afford the plane ticket and housing accommodations. Thank you!
