My best friend's oldest daughter suffers from mental illness. Her diagnosis are eating disorder NOS, anxiety, major depression disorder, OCD- obsessive intrusive thoughts, ADHD, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Since January 25, 2013 Halie has been in inpatient care five times for a total of 47 days, she was in partial hospitalization for 3 1/2 months, and in Intensive Outpatient for 3 months. Halie's doctor has recommended residential treatment, but the families insurance is denying coverage even though Halie fits the criteria. Halie desperately needs residential care. It could change the entire course of her life... she is an amazing dancer and writer. She has so much to offer the world and deserves the chance to live a "normal" life! Please help Halie's family get her the help she needs.
