fletch's top surgery and recovery fund
Donation protected
Accomplices and dearest friends,
My name is Fletch (they/them) I’m a non-binary disabled person raising funds for my top surgery on February 18th, 2021. I have been dreaming of this gender-affirming procedure since coming out as transgender in 2012. This surgery will drastically improve my mental and physical well being. I was one step away from receiving surgery in 2015, but decided to postpone until I found a surgeon I felt confident in. Now i’m scheduled with one of the top surgeons in the country!
Right now, time is of the essence. I have one month (Jan. 25th 2021) before fees are due to my surgeon, anesthesiologist and the facility. All of these groups have separate fees I need to pay. My surgeon fee is 700-1,000$, anesthesia was estimated at between 3,800-9,000$ and I will be covering my facility fees from my savings.
I have been working at an essential business through the covid-19 pandemic and will take a couple months off to allow myself to recover and reduce the risk of contracting covid-19 in a compromised healing state. Restricting my movement makes a great impact on the result of the surgery. Outside of medical fees additional funds will help me pay bills while recovering.
I am so stoked to shape-shift and get to know my new body. I hope to move more freely and comfortably. I’m asking for help raising 5,550$ in a month!
Thank you for taking the time to read this far—if you will donate and/or share it would help immensely. Any excess funds will be donated to other trans people thus perpetuating the #transcrowdfund donation flow. Thank you again for supporting the livelihood of a disabled trans person. So many dear friends have been in my surgeon’s care & have been elated with his results. I’ll share mine with you all in February.
All the Best,
Fletch
P.S. Stay tuned for updates!

Their shirt has been converted to flesh-like half tones, a zig-zag mark extends where their masectomy surgery scar would go. A smaller image of them is to the right, where they are looking down at a vase of daffodils and smiling. Text reads, "Top Surgery and Recovery Fundraiser, Funds Needed by 1/24/2021."
