Fled War, help Fausty finish her dream!

Hi, my name is Nada, and I am fundraising for Faustina from Ghana, who fled the war in Ukraine. She is 25 years old.
In hopes to fulfil her dreams and for a better life, Faustina moved to Ukraine 5 Years ago to study Medicine. When suddenly the war broke out, she found herself running to the bunker daily for safety. She saw dead soldiers lying on the street and open battle out of her window. Faustina tried fleeing with a group of other students but was being shot at and had to return to safety in a bunker further from her student housing. She spent three weeks in terror and fear for her life. Finally, the opportunity arose for her to escape the city of Sumy, she had to pay a whopping 450 Euro for a taxi ride that took 8 hrs instead of its Normal 2hrs to the nearest working train station.
She spent the night on the train platform in the freezing cold amongst many other people. She then spent 24 hours standing on a very crowded train, not being able to use the bathroom or sit down. She got onto another train and finally crossed the border into Hungary, the first sign of Safety.
In Hungary, Faustina spent the night in a church hallway. The next day she mustered up the courage to keep going and follow a friend to Berlin, where she had never been and did not know what would await her. She had to leave everything but a suitcase of her life behind. She spent the first night in Berlin on a lounger in a one-room apartment with three others.
A friend had written me a text message asking if we would take on a student that had fled the war and had no place to go. Within a few hours, I was driving to pick her up.
She was quiet and exhausted, overwhelmed and shellshocked.
We are asking you to help us fund her next three months here while she finds her bearings and while she finds a way to finish her dream of becoming a Doctor. Her parents, who have three more children, have supported her from Ghana but Berlin is a lot more expensive than Student housing in the Ukraine.
The money will be going to renting a room (unfortunately, we do not have enough space for longer-term), groceries and bills. Any amount will be a tremendous support. This will indeed be an unbelievable relief for her and her family in Ghana.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, donating and supporting a 25 year old girl from Ghana who dreams of becoming a doctor.
Stay healthy, stay safe.
