Flawed Hero Marathon (plus London Marathon after!)

On Sunday 27th April 2025, I will be initially taking on the challenge of the Flawed Hero Marathon at 00:01. This is a community based marathon starting in Letchworth with 90% of the proceeds going to Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Once I finish, I will then head down to London to start the London Marathon at 9:30am to then try and complete the epic challenge of 2 marathons (52miles…) in one day.

This is all for the cause of Pancreatic Cancer who have been nominated as the Charity of the Year for the London Marathon. I have become very close to this cause due to losing my grandfather at a young age plus one of my school friend’s brothers at the age of 26.

For those that aren’t aware, Pancreatic Cancer is one of the deadliest cancer’s in the UK and after diagnosis, most patients only live up to 3month’s. With this fundraising across both charities, PCUK are aiming to develop a breath test which GPs can use which would fundamentally in catching this charity faster and earlier so those affected have a better chance of survival.
