When the pandemic hit in the winter of 2020, I started writing music and texts inspired by a falsified vision of reality. A resilient and creative state of mind unexpectedly pushed myself to question the person I am and the artist I want to be. Days of mixed feelings have passed, but I kept looking forward to a time of gigging and sharing with no barriers.

 

With the new reality of venues shut down, festivals cancelled, and concerts going virtual, it felt like the right time to invest in something meaningful. It was time to empty the creative box (and my bank account lol), make up my mind, and taking time in the studio to record new music. Everything started off with the production of the new single 'False Lights' in December 2021 but the goal is to record a 5-track EP.

The production of this EP will cost €5000. I would love if you could show your support upfront to help cover the costs so I can make this album a reality! Plus, this would be the best gift for my 30th birthday coming up!

 

What makes 'False Lights' different from my other records is that it is a truly introspective work and identifies a drastic change of sound for me. Every song on this record is composed by yours truly, and produced in the studio with a wide spectrum of synths, beats, acoustic and electric instruments. I would describe the style of the music as an alternative soulful pop, influenced by jazz and neo-soul.

 

These songs are my joys, my sorrows, my doubts, all wrapped up in a an EP that will be available digitally somewhere in 2022. With all my gratitude, I'd be honored to have your support!

Quando la pandemia ci ha colpito nell'inverno del 2020, ho iniziato a scrivere musica e testi ispirati da una visione falsificata della realtà. Uno spirito resiliente e creativo mi ha inaspettatamente spinto a mettere in discussione la persona che sono e l'artista che voglio essere. In quei giorni di sentimenti contrastanti, ho continuato a sperare in un tempo di rinascita e condivisione senza barriere.

 

In una nuova realtà di luoghi chiusi, festival cancellati e concerti diventati virtuali, mi è sembrato il momento giusto per investire in qualcosa di importante. Era il momento di svuotare il sacco (e il conto in banca lol), farmi coraggio e prendermi del tempo in studio per registrare nuove canzoni. Tutto è iniziato con la produzione del singolo 'False Lights' a Dicembre 2021 ma l'obiettivo è registrare un EP di 5 tracce.

Ciò che rende 'False Lights' diverso dalle altre mie produzioni é che questo lavoro é davvero introspettivo e rappresenta totamente una nuova fase sonora. Ogni canzone di questo disco è stata composta da me ma prodotta e arrangiata in studio con un ampio spettro di sintetizzatori, beats, strumenti acustici ed elettrici. Un soulful pop alternativo, influenzato dal jazz e dal nu soul.

 

Queste canzoni sono le mie gioie, i miei dolori, i miei dubbi, il tutto racchiuso in un EP che sarà disponibile digitalmente più in là, nel 2022. Con tutta la mia gratitudine...onorato di avere il vostro supporto!
