Flatten Chelsea's Debt For Their Birthday!!!!

Dearest friends of Chelsea Dirck (from their partner Alex):

As many of you already know, the past two and half years have been extremely rough for Chelsea in the wake of their father's long battle with cancer and his eventual passing last September. In addition to the obvious difficulties in such a situation, constant travels between New York and Maine, high living costs due to our transition to the Hudson Valley, repeated car maintenance, and multiple job changes as they attempted to balance end-of-life care with being an adult in this wild world have landed them in a significant amount of credit card debt. Despite working consistently nowadays, they aren't making enough to put any dents in it. Both of us have been struggling with bills alone, frequently depending on bursts of kindness from others to get by.

It has become increasingly clear to me just how much financial burdens are weighing on them as they try to envision their life outside of crisis. Chelsea's birthday is this week – their first after Rick's departure – and all I want to do is try to help relieve them of the massive stress this has caused to kick off their new trip around the sun. I know Chelsea wants and needs the help, but I think its tough for them to do so because of doing so frequently over the past couple of years. So, I'm asking myself!

If you can spare something to throw into this fund, it would mean the world. I feel like this is the final significant financial hurdle for them as they transition back into “normal” life.
