From the day we opened our doors in 1993, the objective of Flat Breads Cafe has been simple: to offer the best sandwiches we could roll - and to be a positive part of our customers' lives each day right here on Commonwealth Avenue. As simple as this idea is, it has not been easy. It's taken a lot of hard working people to get us to where we are today.
This work has given me the treasure of my life - which has been getting to know all of you - whether it be all of the Boston College students, athletes, faculty, staff and clergy - to the City of Newton residents, municipal workers, firefighters or police. We love our work and are determined to get back to doing what we love — serving our community — as soon as it is safe to do so. And now, we humbly ask for the support of our community to help us bridge the gap to when we can reopen.
We have been uniquely fortunate to count on the support of the Newton, Boston and Boston College communities over the past 27 years. And we are turning to our communities now for a different type of support to help the team who has made Flat Breads what it is. 100% of any donations will go directly toward supporting our fixed expenses - and most importantly - our team members who need immediate relief as we navigate these challenging times.
