Anybody who knows me is aware that I am not one to ask for help. Like at all. But I am setting aside my pride and independence and asking for any sort of donations you can make to help me out.

On Saturday night my sweet neighborhood and house were caught in a devastating flash flood. I am safe. My dogs are safe. And my house is safe. So many people had it much worse, so I am grateful.

However I had 6ft of water crashing through my basement and a lot of stuff was lost. Basically everything down there became trash in the blink of an eye.

The cleanup has been an insane amount of work and the trauma of the experience feels surreal still.

I am grateful to the community and support of volunteers who have offered supplies and food and manual labor. It’s been amazing.
