Hi, my name is Orion Radies,

I’m the Writer, Director, and Producer of an exciting short film called Flamingo Dahlia.

I’ve been writing and directing passion projects for the past 10 years, and this proof of concept is based on a feature-length script I wrote eight years ago, originally titled Divine. The story explores themes of abandonment, resilience, love, and the shared humanity that connects us all.

Being human comes with its fair share of challenges, but there’s also so much beauty in it. In a time when the world feels divided, my hope is that this film helps remind us of our common ground — that we can see both sides, flaws and all, before pointing fingers.

Filmmaking has always been something I return to. It’s what I love doing, and it continues to feel like my calling. Bringing Flamingo Dahlia to life — and hopefully to audiences around the world — is an exciting next chapter in that journey.
