The Flamenco Dance Museum, is unique in the world.

In addition, it is the only flamenco space declared a PLACE OF TOURIST INTEREST by the Andalusian Government.

The artists were from ancient humble people. Flamenco sprouted from the heart. With him they celebrated sorrows and joys, forgetting hunger, a faithful friend of the humble, to outline with great dignity an art that today opens theaters and palaces to be shared.

Flamenco doesn't understand of social classes. It understands passion, duende and “quejío,” art and essence...

Today, this universal art, which suffered the cruel scourge of the pandemic, is in an agonizing situation. The Museum was closed for two years, but it had to continue paying credits, taxes, water, electricity, etc. So he had to ask for another loan to be able to meet those expenses. That is why is asking for help.

It doesn't matter how big your contribution is. Small or large, it will serve to help this place of art and culture, survive.

The great family of flamenco dance will never forget that it was your solidarity that helped to lovingly support that universal “tablao” through which the elf walks...

Queridos amigos:

En Sevilla hay una casa que guarda un tesoro: la esencia más pura de un arte universal, el flamenco…

El Museo del Baile Flamenco, que es único en el mundo.

Además, es el único espacio flamenco declarado LUGAR DE INTERÉS TURÍSTICO por el Gobierno de Andalucía.

Fueron los gitanos un pueblo que llegó de lejos… De más cerca, de la otra orilla, llegaron los árabes. Trajeron consigo un ritmo que nadie en la vieja Europa sintió jamás. Y con tanta mezcla de aquí y de allá nació el flamenco. En la calle… A ras de suelo y pegado al pueblo.

Fueron de antiguo gente humilde los artistas. El flamenco brotábales del corazón. Con él celebraban penas y alegrías olvidando el hambre, amiga fiel de los humildes, para perfilar con mucha dignidad un arte que hoy, abre teatros y palacios para ser compartido.

No entiende el flamenco de clases sociales. Entiende de pasión, de duende y quejío, de arte y esencia…

Hoy, este arte universal, que sufrió el azote cruel dela pandemia, tiene una situación agónica. El Museo, estuvo cerrado dos años, pero debía seguir pagando los créditos, impuestos, agua, electricidad, etc. Por lo que hubo de pedir otro crédito para poder hacer frente a esos gastos. Es por ello que pide ayuda.

Da igual cuan cuantiosa sea tu aportación. Pequeña o grande, servirá para ayudar a sobrevivir a este lugar de arte y de cultura
