Crowd Funding for a Fabulous Funeral.
In Loving Memory of Phillip “Sheep” Wright
Also known as Flamboyant Phil – the legend, the light, the loyal friend.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and devastating loss of our beloved friend and colleague, Phillip "Sheep" Wright, who passed away far too soon at the age of 47 after a heart attack on Friday 18th July in his home in Twickenham, whom he shared with Tim.

We want to give Phil the send-off he deserves — vibrant, loving, and unforgettable, just like him. We’re raising funds to cover funeral costs and bring together everyone whose lives he touched, to honour and celebrate the legend he was.
Phil was truly one of a kind, he was flamboyant, fabulous, fiercely loyal, and utterly unforgettable. With his bleached blonde afro (the origin of his affectionate nickname “Sheep”), dazzling outfits, orange shoes, crocodile-print trousers, and signature caps, Phil didn’t just walk into a room — he owned it.

Known fondly as Flamboyant Phil, he was more than just his iconic fashion. He was a gifted cocktail bar legend, an outstanding event manager, an incredible dancer, and above all, a kind and compassionate human being. He lit up any space he entered — with his smile, his energy, and that unmistakable sparkle.

Phil’s career took him all over the world — from the fields of Glastonbury and Boomtown to the courts of Wimbledon, the splendour of the Chelsea Flower Show, and even Twickenham Stadium. He worked the World Cup in Japan, poured pints at Immense aeroplane parties on the beach, and ran bars for the likes of Goodwood, Good2Know, and more. If there was a major event happening, chances are, Phil was at the heart of it — shaking cocktails, leading teams, and bringing his unmistakable charm to the crowd.

He danced through life, strutting his moves on stages with the likes of Kylie, Justin Timberlake and if that was not enough talent, he was the most incredible jazz pianist.

He was a founding member of the BBE family and, even after taking some time out, he remained deeply rooted in that community. He was also a beloved and long-standing part of the My Cause UK and Ethical Staffing teams, who described him perfectly as “a source of light, laughter, and compassion... a team player, a leader, a friend, and a beautiful soul.”
Behind the flair and flamboyance was a quieter, gentler side of Phil. At home, he loved a rustler burger, a pot noodle, a joint, and a bottle of champagne — content in his own peaceful world. He had his share of struggles, like many of us do, but he faced life with strength, humour, and an unwavering sense of dignity.

There was only one Phil — Phil the Sheep. To know him was to love him. To work with him was to admire him. And to lose him is to feel an irreplaceable absence.

This world will never be the same without him, he lit up the room with a magical formula that if it could be bottled would be worth a fortune.

Please give what you can. Every contribution will help us say goodbye in a way worthy of our dear, dazzling Phil.
Rest in peace, Flamboyant Phil.

You left the world far too soon, but your light will never fade.

We are planning to do Phil’s funeral on ‘Tuesday 19th August’ at Bournemouth Crematorium at 1pm, followed by a wake at 1812
