It is with heavy hearts that we are asking for your donations and prayers for the family of Bob Flake. We are raising donations to help assist Angela, Bobby, and Victoria through the tragic loss of their beloved father and husband.

Bob made everyone he met feel like the two of them had a “special connection”. He didn’t just make them feel that way, but he actually had a “special connection” with pretty much everyone he met.

He didn’t give up on anyone. He prioritized people over things. He understood that you have to give people your time in order to make a difference in their lives, and he gave his time unselfishly. He chose to be encouraging and positive, whether that was by giving someone a headbutt, a pat on the back, a bunch of crap, a listening ear, or a reason to laugh. Bob always left you with more energy and more hope after you saw him than you had before you saw him. Always. That is why he will be missed by our whole community.

His ability to connect this way made him extremely valuable to our school and meant that he was “in demand” for leadership positions. Despite this, he chose to step down from his coaching position to be able to spend time connecting with his family, because these connections were the most important. Our heart breaks for his family because they won’t get to have more of that time that he chose to spend with them.
