Flagstaff Mission Trip Fundraiser
Want to join Streams of Light International in making a difference in the city of Flagstaff, Arizona?
We're raising money to help make it possible for 70 missionaries from around the U.S., along with the 15-member Flagstaff Seventh-day Adventist Church, to distribute 26,000 Great Controversy books, 26,000 Thrive magazines, and 78,000 GLOW tracts to the 26,000 homes in Flagstaff from November 11-14, 2021.
Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that will make an eternal difference in people's lives.
The vision to get one Great Controversy into every home was inspired in 2020 when Oleg Lotca felt a burning conviction to distribute the book door-to-door like the leaves of autumn. He noticed that when the work of literature evangelism resumed after some restrictions were lifted, that people were hungry for the truth and the hope that it gives them. Other church members soon caught the vision as well, and Streams of Light International was born.

The Flagstaff Seventh-day Adventist Church is a small church with a big vision. Having a passion to share a copy of The Great Controversy with the 26,000 homes in their community, the church members wondered how their 15-member church could accomplish the task. Alone, it would take them 8 years to do the work, but with the help of a team united in mission, the task can be finished in only four days. Thousands of people in the city of Flagstaff are just waiting to receive the light that The Great Controversy will bring into their lives. Your donation today will help make this possible.

Streams of Light International officially launched on October 4, 2021, making its special edition of The Great Controversy (with QR codes leading readers to audiovisual content related to each chapter) available to churches all over North America. Before even launching, incoming orders for books have nearly depleted the first print run of 100,000 copies and the challenge now is to raise funds for the next print run of 1 million books.
This project can bring new life into a congregation. In Nixa, Missouri, 75 church members participated in distributing 1,400 books to their community in one hour. They now have a goal of distributing one book to every home in their town. This outreach activity brought together a church that had previously been very divided. The church's pastor, Pastor DuVall, who had been very doubtful that his church members could cooperate on such a project, said, "We were looking for years for an outreach project we could do. Being able to hand out The Great Controversy was exactly what we needed! This is the solution [to bringing a divided church together]!This is a great outreach and it has energized this church!"

Time is short. There are many people to be reached for Christ and very little time to reach them. People are dying every day without having the precious light and prophetic insights that The Great Controversy provides. Through your earnest prayers, by volunteering to help, and/or with your generous donation, you can bring light to places where there is now only darkness and despair. Any amount—large or small—will make a difference in someone's life, not only now but for eternity.
