Towards the end of his diligent and faithful life, many medical costs were accrued. Dad suffered from multiple myeloma cancer, and he is a fighter! His body struggled to fight the cancer and survive kidney failure, plus ward off infection after infection while Mom stayed by his side. Whether it was the recurring hospital stays, nursing home, home care, family care, hospice home... and in the end a funeral home--costs became intense. He peacefully passed away in his sleep Friday, August 7, 2015 at 12:57pm with his wife and a few children by his side.
