Hi, my name is Brandon, and I’m reaching out in what feels like one of the hardest moments of my life. My family and I recently made a huge move, hoping for a fresh start. We poured all of our savings into this, believing it was the right choice for us, my fiancé, and our 3-year-old. But ever since we made the leap, we’ve faced one devastating blow after another.

First, we lost our longtime best friend—our dog—suddenly, which left us with not only heartbreak but also a $600 bill. Shortly after, our car, which we had just put $8,000 into for a new motor, blew its transmission, leaving us without transportation. We’ve already exhausted our savings, and now this feels like an impossible mountain to climb.

On top of everything, I recently fell and broke my ankle. While Medicaid will hopefully cover the medical costs, the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. With these unexpected expenses piling up, I’m scared for my family’s future, especially with the threat of homelessness hanging over us.

I’ve never been one to ask for help, but I’m at a place where I don’t know where else to turn. I’m humbly asking for any assistance you can provide to help us get back on our feet and keep a roof over our heads. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and help bring some stability in this storm of misfortune.
