Hello! My name is Kristin Conley, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my 8 year old nephew, Connor Nowicki and family. On Saturday June 25th, 2022 Connor was diagnosed with Stage 4 T-Lymphoblastic Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma (T-LBL). Pushing on his right lung and heart is a 5.5" cancerous tumor, in addition to spots on both kidneys and the lymph nodes in his neck. After several days in the ICU, and multiple biopsies, Connor began chemotherapy. As of now, his treatment plan consists of 1 month of in-patient care, with 2 years of out-patient to follow. To maintain the best support system, his parents (Kate and Chris) alternate visits between Connor in the hospital, and his 10 year old brother, Xander at home. Travel expenses alone are already taking a toll on family finances, as well as household and medical bills. In addition, certain home renovations must be done to accommodate Connor's compromised immune system. In order to provide the best air quality and environment, duct work, moisture and mold remediation, and an air filtration system will need to be installed. Despite this traumatic experience, we all remain positive with high hopes that Connor will get through this, and come out even stronger at the end. He aspires to become a police officer, and dreams to one day swim with sharks. The Nowicki family greatly appreciates any donations made during this most difficult and heartbreaking time.
